Junior Interoperability Engineer - Flexibility Management (m/f/d)
preferably Full-time
We would need your energy for:
- You develop PLC programs in compliance with the IEC 61131-3 standard.
- In addition to PLC development and programming, you are involved in the commissioning and testing of the software on-site
- Through continuous system analysis and troubleshooting, you ensure the smooth operation of the RTUs.
- Experience with the interfaces IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 60870-5-101, MQTT, Modbus TCP, and Modbus RTU can be helpful.
- Manage installation of communication hardware to connect new energy assets to the virtual power plant
- Develop solution approaches, guidelines, and documentation.
- Initiate ideas towards the further development of innovative CyberGrid software solutions.
- Report the projects state to the team lead.
You have the following qualifications:
- Degree (Polytechnical College, Higher Technical College, University of Applied Science or Technical University) in IT, Computer Sciences, Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Information Systems, or similar. Knowledge and practical experience in the energy markets.
- Practical experience in automating industrial assets like turbines, wind parks, and PVs is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile Software Development, SCRUM, and Tools like Jira and Confluence can be helpful.
- Initiative and well-organized.
- Good language skills in German and English; Knowledge of any other language is helpful.
- Expertise in MS Office 365.
- Capability of working in a diverse and multinational team.
- Willingness to travel.
- Should have a driver's license
